Preparations for Lahore Youth Festival trials finalised

LAHORE:DG Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal Thursday confirmed that the preparations for Lahore Youth Festival trials have been completed and the trials will begin from October 25 to 29 at Punjab Stadium.

In this connection, the DG chaired a meeting at the National Hockey Stadium Lahore and reviewed the preparations for the trials. He said a committee has been constituted to manage the event that will feature athletics, tug-of-war, marathon, cycling, and other competitions, which will take place from November 7 to 9. The meeting was attended by Director Admin Dr M Kaleem, Director Sports Yasmin Akhtar, Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem, District Sports Officer Tanveer and M Hafeez.
