The Provincial Management Service (PMS) exam is a crucial tool for inducting civil service officers in Pakistan at the provincial level. To my knowledge, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh utilise the PMS exam to recruit officers, but Balochistan still employs the old Provincial Civil Service (PCS) exam. To bring about much-needed civil service reforms, I urge the Balochistan government to consider introducing the PMS exam, replacing the outdated PCS exam.
