Snail’s pace
I want to bring attention to the ongoing construction of University Road, Karachi, which is causing serious traffic problems, especially in the morning. This road is used by many students, workers, and residents, but the slow progress of construction is making it very hard for people to reach their universities and workplaces on time. The traffic is much worse than before and what used to be a short commute now takes a lot longer because of roadblocks and the incomplete construction work.
There are no proper alternate routes and the traffic management is poor, which makes the situation even worse. This is causing frustration and delays for everyone who depends on this road. While fixing the road is important, the construction needs to be done more quickly and in a way that causes less trouble for the people. I kindly ask the authorities to speed up the construction and improve traffic management, perhaps by providing alternate routes or extra traffic wardens during rush hours.
