Downsides of progress

The advancement of technology and industrialisation has led to a rapid improvement in our lifestyles. But, behind the advancement and progress of technology and industrialisation are many disadvantages that are very dangerous for humans. The pollution created by these advancements and the rapid depletion of essential natural resources like water are among the biggest downsides.

Then there is the disappearance of natural habitats due to deforestation and urban sprawl, which also contributes to climate change. We need to reduce pollution levels, preserve and recycle important resources like water and launch reforestation initiatives in order to ensure that all our technological progress does not end up actually damaging our quality of life.
