Four suspects caught smuggling 27kg narcotics

In a successful operation, Karachi police on Wednesday seized drugs worth over 10 million rupees in Shah Latin Town.

According to the police, the drugs were confiscated from a vehicle near the National Highway, where two male suspects and two female suspects were apprehended.

The suspects have been identified as Naseer, Javed, Bilqis and Khalida.

The police reported that over 10 kilograms of ice (crystal meth), 15kg f hashish, 2kg of opium, and a white Corolla vehicle used for drug distribution were seized.

According to a spokesperson for the District Malir police, the suspects were engaged in drug supply and sales in various concealed areas of Karachi as well as in the interior of Sindh.

Authorities stated that the recovery of these drugs marks a significant success in the police's ongoing efforts against the drug trade. Cases have been registered, and further investigations are underway.
