LAHORE:Nseerabad police arrested a couple and recovered 2kg ice from their possession. The accused were identified as Hamza and Fiza.
Three bike thieves arrested; loot seized
Shahdara Police's Saggian checkpoint arrested a three-member motorcycle thieves gang, recovering eight stolen motorcycles and illegal weapons from their possession. The suspects, identified as Bilal Butt, Zain, and Bilal Usama, were apprehended after police foiled a planned robbery. During interrogation, the gang confessed to their crime.
SP City Qazi Ali praised the police team.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Town Police arrested a three-member snatcher gang involved in a series of street crimes. The gang members, identified as Ghazanfar Ali, Shehbaz Razaq, and M Amin, were arrested during an operation.
According to SP Saddar, Dr Ghayur Ahmed, the police used modern technology and human intelligence to track down the suspects. The operation resulted in the recovery of three stolen motorcycles, 10 mobile phones, thousands of rupees in cash, and illegal weapons from the accused.
Further investigation revealed that the gang was also involved in pickpocketing incidents in the public transport. The suspects have been handed over to the investigation wing and cases were registered against them.
Suspect arrested for harassing woman
A suspect who was chasing and harassing a woman on a motorcycle was arrested. According to the details, the woman was on her way home from her office when the biker started chasing her.
The woman stated that the suspect used obscene language while following her, and even tried to stop her. The woman registered a complaint with the Virtual Women Police Station by calling 15. The Virtual Women Police Station dispatched the police to the scene. The spokesperson for the PSCA said that the police arrested the suspect based on the woman’s identification. A case was registered against the suspect.
