ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court No. 1 Judge Nasir Javed Rana adjourned the hearing of the £190 million case against the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi without any proceedings on Tuesday.

Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar, along with the NAB prosecutor and investigating officer, appeared on behalf of Advocate Ansar Kayani.

During the hearing, Ansar Kayani sought more time, stating, “Give me some time, and I will confirm with the senior counsel.

The senior lawyers are busy at the Islamabad High Court.” He further informed the court that he would provide instructions after consulting with the senior counsel. The court briefly adjourned the session.

When the hearing resumed, advocates Sharif Kayani and Shamsa Kayani appeared and informed the court that a notification regarding prison security had been extended, necessitating a further extension of the hearing. Subsequently, the court adjourned the case until October 28 for further proceedings.
