LAHORE: Thrilling matches were witnessed on the second day of the Lahore Smart City Polo in Pink Tournament at the Lahore Polo Club Ground on Tuesday. In the first match, FG/Din Polo triumphed over Lahore Smart City with a 10-7 margin.
Raja Mikail Sami was the stand-out performer for FG/Din Polo, scoring five goals. Mian Abbas Mukhtar and Rafi Sheikh contributed two goals each. Sahar Yaghoobi scored once. Lahore Smart City’s Agha Musa Ali Khan fought well with five goals while Farooq Amin Soofi and Bilal Hai contributed one goal each.
The second match saw SQ Seagold overpower One Degree with a 9-4 scoreline. English player Charlotte Sweeney was in fine form, scoring four goals for SQ Seagold. Azam Hayat Noon and Taimur Moazzam also chipped in with two goals each. One Degree’s Adil Rao managed two goals as the team had a two-goal handicap advantage.
