KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs1,100 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. With this increase, gold rates in the local and international markets have reached an all-time high.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs282,400 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs943 to Rs242,970.Gold rates increased by $11 to $2,737 per ounce in the international market, which is also an all-time high rate.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,150 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs2,700.62.Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
