KARACHI: The fifth edition of Texpo 2024 will be held at the Expo Centre from October 23-25, 2024, announced Zubair Motiwala, chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), on Monday.
During a press conference, Motiwala described Texpo 2024 as the flagship event for Pakistan’s textile and leather industries. “This exceptional event will highlight the vibrant textile and leather sectors of Pakistan, attracting a wide range of international stakeholders and industry leaders,” he said.
More than 270 exhibitors are expected to dislay their latest products and innovations, providing an excellent platform for networking and collaboration. The exhibition will span six expansive halls, offering ample space to explore the diverse offerings from the textile and leather sectors.
Motiwala added that the event will facilitate connections between local and international businesses, enabling partnerships and trade agreements that will strengthen the industry. Engaging sessions will address current trends, technological advancements and sustainable practices in the textile and leather industries, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and insights.
He added that the exhibition aims to promote Pakistan’s textile and leather industries on a global stage, fostering international business relations and exploring new markets by showcasing the innovative and creative capabilities of Pakistani designers and manufacturers.
