LALAMUSA: Lalamusa is currently grappling with an unrelenting wave of inflation that has severely impacted the lives of its residents. Prices of basic commodities have skyrocketed, pushing the already struggling population into an economic quagmire. From essential food items such as vegetables, fruits, and lentils to everyday necessities like milk, everything has become prohibitively expensive, making it harder for families to make ends meet. Local markets reflect this grim reality, where once affordable staples are out of reach for many.
“Every day, the prices go higher. Even the basic vegetables are now a luxury for us,” said a distressed resident, expressing the collective frustration felt by many. A kilogram of tomatoes, which used to cost around Rs 80 a few months ago, now exceeds Rs 200.
