KHAR: The residents on Monday staged a protest demonstration and the road for several hours against the delay in the construction of Mamond Sewai to Umaray road.
The people from the Mamond area gathered and staged a protest demonstration against the seven-month-long continuous delay in the construction work on the central Sewai to Umaray road in Tehsil Mamond.
The enraged protesters also blocked the main road at Tani Mamond for several hours.The protesters’ leaders, including Malik Jan Wali Khan, Irfan Janbaz, Gul Zada and others addressed the protest rally. The speakers said that the construction of a 1.5-kilometer road had been delayed for seven months in Mamond tehsil, which was causing severe difficulties for the local population.
