PESHAWAR: The Frontier Foundation Haematology Services arranged camps in various areas to collect blood donations for the children and other patients suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood-related disorders.
The blood donation camps were held at Government Degree College Yakkaghund, Michini Bazaar in Mohmand tribal district, Bara Bazaar, Phando Gul Panra Market, Urmar Baghban and other areas where dozens of blood bags collected for the children suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia and other blood disorders.
The Frontier Foundation team included Nasrullah, Muhammad Ilyas and others, while college administration, local elders and dignitaries extended full cooperation during the blood donation camps, said a press release.
The students and the general public donated dozens of bags of blood for the patients to save their precious lives.Meanwhile, Frontier Foundation Chairman Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem thanked the blood donors and said that because of these donations, children suffering from hereditary blood diseases were able to survive.He urged the people to continue supporting their efforts to save young lives. He said that genetic diseases like thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood-related disorders were spreading fast owing to the lack of awareness among the people.
