LAHORE:In a move aimed at accelerating the promotion and confirmation process within the Punjab Police, the Punjab government has confirmed 28 Superintendents of Police (SPs).
According to Punjab Police spokesperson, these officers were promoted in March last year as part of departmental promotions and have now been officially confirmed to their new ranks.
The confirmed SPs included M Shehbaz, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaaban Mahmood Bhatti, Munir Ahmed, M Shehzad, and Maqsood Ahmed Lone. Other confirmed officers include Daud Khan, Ghayasuddin, M Qaiser Mushtaq, Mahmood Azam Khan, Saifullah, Shaukat Ali Sheikh, and Shahid Ahmed.
Additionally, Farhan Aslam, Farooq Sultan, Tahir Ali, Shafiq Chaudhry, Farhat Abbas, and Khalid Mahmood were also confirmed in the rank of SP. The list further includes Shamsuddin, Muhammad Tahir, Ziaul Haq, Rahman Qadir Khan, M Imran Khan, M Usman, Jamshed Ali, Hassan Raza, and Muhammad Riaz Naz. Inspector General Police Punjab (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar congratulated and encouraged them to continue their supervisory roles with even greater dedication and diligence.
