LAHORE:IG Punjab has issued over Rs1.6 million for the medical expenses of police employees and their families dealing with severe illnesses.
According to details, Rs500,000 were given to Constable Faheem of Lahore Police for his wife's medical treatment, while Rs500,000 allocated to DEO M Ahsan of Rawalpindi for leg treatment. Inspector Nofal Zahoor was granted Rs200,000 for open-heart surgery, and Constable Mashkoor of Multan received Rs100,000 for treatment of a psychological disorder. Salman Ali's wife was provided with Rs100,000 for tumour treatment, Junior Clerk Hafiz M Husnain was allocated Rs100,000 for kidney treatment, and Head Constable Zahid Bashir received Rs100,000 for his wife's medical expenses.
