ISLAMABAD: Civil Judge Shahzad Khan on Saturday acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in a case related to violence during the May 25 Azadi March.
An FIR had been registered against the PTI leadership at the Secretariat Police Station for inciting protesters to damage public properties and interfere in government affairs.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court had reserved the verdict and announced it on Saturday.
