Hearing in cases against Imran, his sisters, Bushra put off

Gudge said they wanted video link only for one hearing or all hearings

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana on Saturday adjourned the hearing in the 190 million pounds reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

Lawyers Usman Riaz Gul, Faisal Farid Chaudhry and Khalid Yousuf appeared in the court.

Faisal said an order should be passed to present the accused on video link as since October 3, they could not meet Imran and Bushra. If video link is not possible, orders should be issued for production of the accused.

The judge said they wanted video link only for one hearing or all hearings. Give a written request in this regard. He then adjourned the hearing till October 22.

In another case, the hearing on the bail applications of Imran’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma in an anti-terrorism court was adjourned. Raja Jawad Abbas Hasan heard the bail applications.

The petitioners’ lawyers Niazullah Niazi, Usman Riaz Gul and others appeared in the court. The judge said: “I am not the duty judge and cannot decide on bail.” The court adjourned the hearing till October 22.
