LAHORE : The upcoming Khelta Punjab Games will play a key role in promoting healthy culture and activities among the youth in all parts of the province.
The growth of healthy activities is our mission and Youth Affairs Department is acting upon this policy quite actively and effectively.
Director General Youth Affairs Punjab Pervez Iqbal expressed these views while addressing an important meeting of divisional, district and tehsil sports officers during his Faisalabad visit on Saturday.
Divisional Sports Officer Faisalabad Tariq Nazir gave a detailed briefing to DG Youth Affairs Punjab about the sports facilities of Faisalabad division.
All important issues relating to Khelta Punjab Games came under discussion during the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Pervez Iqbal directed the sports officers to utilise all resources and energy for the successful holding of the upcoming Khelta Punjab Games 2024.
He directed the sports officers to ensure the organization of at least one game of Khelta Punjab Games at every Tehsil of the province.
He directed the sports officers of Faisalabad division to monitor all the sports projects in their respective areas.
"Utilise all resources to incline the youth towards healthy sports activities across the province. Every officer must play his due role in the promotion and growth of sports culture in the province," he added.
