PJA holds first workshop on inheritance issues, revenue documents

LAHORE : The Punjab Judicial Academy (PJA) has concluded the first batch of its one-week workshop on the “Analysis of Inheritance Issues and Revenue Documents,” marking the first time the academy has offered training on this subject.

The concluding session was chaired by Director General of the Punjab Judicial Academy Justice (retd) Sardar Ahmad Naeem. Other key figures in attendance included Adviser and Director Admin Hafeez Ullah Khan, Director Programmes Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Director Research Bushra Zaman, Director Training Iram Ayaz, and senior instructors Mehmood Azam, Ms. Ayesha Khalid, and Mr. Muhammad Khalid Khan.

In his address at the concluding ceremony, Director General Sardar Ahmad Naeem underscored the importance of continuous learning for judicial officers. He highlighted that this is the first time the academy has initiated a training programme on inheritance issues and revenue documents, to provide comprehensive education to judicial officers across Punjab.

He said that the Punjab Judicial Academy is committed to offering high-quality training, in line with the vision of the chief justice of the Lahore High Court. This initiative, he said, reflects the academy’s dedication to enhancing the skills and knowledge of judicial officers throughout the province. Representing the participants, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ambrin Qureshi praised the initiative, saying that the specialised training on inheritance issues and revenue documents is a significant step forward. The first batch of the one-week programme was attended by 25 additional district and sessions judges.

Director General Sardar Ahmad Naeem distributed certificates among participants and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of learning.
