River outflows at Tarbela, Mangla, Chashma remain unchanged

LAHORE : The river outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma and the barrages have not shown any significant change as irrigation requirements for Rabi sowing yet to be picked up.

According to water report issued by Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) on Saturday, inflow of River Indus at Tarbela was 36700 cusecs and Outflows stood at 37000 cusecs, Kabul River’s inflow at Nowshera was 14900 cusecs and Outflows 14900 cusecs, Jhelum River’s inflow at Mangla 6300 cusecs and Outflows 32000 cusecs, Chenab River inflow at Marala 13100 cusecs and Outflows 6500 cusecs.

Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 41600 cusecs and Outflows 34500 cusecs.

Chashma: Inflows: 40400 cusecs and Outflows 47000 cusecs, Taunsa: 50600 Inflows cusecs and Outflows 50600 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 62200 cusecs and Outflows 55700 cusecs Sukkur. Inflows 51100 cusecs and Outflows 21100 cusecs Kotri: Inflows 23400 cusecs and Outflows 1600 cusecs Trimmu: Inflows 16800 cusecs and Outflow 7300 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 8900 cusecs and Outflows 1600 cusecs.
