KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs900 per tola on Saturday in the local market following an increase in the international market. With this increase, gold rates in the local and international markets have reached an all-time high.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association stated that gold rates reached Rs281,800 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs772 to Rs241,598.
Gold rates increased by $9 to $2,721 per ounce in the international market, which is also an all-time high rate.
Silver rates rose by Rs50 to Rs3,150 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also increased by Rs42.87 to Rs2,700.62.
Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
