LAHORE : Around seven people died, whereas 1,446 were injured in 1,376 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Out of these, 628 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 818 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue 1122
Two die: Two individuals lost their lives in separate incidents across the City.
According to a spokesperson from the Edhi Foundation, in the first incident, a motorcyclist died in a road accident on Bedian Road in the Hayer area. The 50-year-old man, identified as Arif, son of Khushi, lost control of his motorcycle, which slipped, leading to his death on the spot.
In another tragic event, an 11-year-old boy named Usman succumbed to injuries after being struck by a stray bullet in the Sabzazar area. The child was hit by the bullet four days ago while sleeping on the roof of his house. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Usman could not survive and died on Friday.
