KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs3,000 per tola on Friday in the local market following an increase in the international market. With this increase, gold rates in the local and international markets have reached an all-time high.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs280,900 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,572 to Rs240,826.
Gold rates increased by $30 to $2,712 per ounce in the international market, which is also an all-time high rate.Silver rates rose by Rs50 to Rs3,100 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also increased by Rs42.87 to Rs2,657.75.Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
