ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain has sent PTI leader Azam Swati and Asad Qaiser’s brother Adnan Khan to the Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.
During the hearing, Azam was brought before the court after his seven-day physical remand completed. The court sent him to jail on judicial remand.
Adnan, who had been arrested in a case registered by the Kohsar Police, was also produced after his seven-day physical remand completed.
Later, Azam’s lawyer Ayesha Khalid filed Adnan’s bail application, on which the court adjourned the hearing till Friday (today) while issuing a notice for reply.
In another case, Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana sought a report from the NAB in a corruption case against Fawad Chaudhry. Fawad appeared in the court along with his lawyer Faisal Chaudhry. The NAB prosecutor requested more time to submit the report. The court adjourned the hearing till November 11.
