Nawaz made country’s defence invincible: minister

BAHAWALPUR: Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer Monday said visionary and bold leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had made Pakistan’s defence invincible by detonating nuclear devices.
Addressing a special ceremony to commemorate the 18th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer held at his residence, the minister said despite tremendous global pressure Nawaz took an historic initiative of detonating nuclear devices which established an everlasting strategic parity in the region.
The participants also prayed for early recovery of Nawaz.
The minister paid rich tribute to the courageous and forward looking vision of the PM.
Politicians Malik Muneer Channer, Malik Zaheer Channer, Malik Ejaz Channer and a large number of party workers attended the ceremony.
