KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs2,200 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. With this increase, gold rates in the local and international markets have reached an all-time high.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs277,200 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,886 to Rs237,654.Gold rates increased by $22 to $2,675 per ounce in the international market, which is also an all-time high rate.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,050 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs2,614.88.Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
