LAHORE: Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in Islamabad aboard an Indian Air Force (IAF) plane, which returned after dropping the dignitary.
According to aviation sources, the IAF aircraft touched down at Nur Khan Air Base at precisely 3:26PM. The Indian foreign minister was greeted by officials and, after a brief welcome ceremony, he and his team proceeded to participate in various official engagements throughout the day.
The Indian aircraft remained stationed at the airbase for approximately 55 minutes before taking off again at 4:20 PM. The aircraft then navigated a route that, unusually, flew at a lower altitude than typical, covering the distance in about 43 minutes. It landed safely at Amritsar Airport. In a noteworthy detail, it is anticipated that the special aircraft will make another trip back to Pakistan on Wednesday afternoon. This flight is expected to collect Jaishankar and his team.
