Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has reportedly refused to accept a farewell party before his official retirement on October 25. This is a highly commendable and wise decision on the part of the CJP as such farewells involve a significant expense.
It is better to spend this amount on welfare organisations providing free medical care and education to the people. Hats off to the CJP for setting this example.
