PESHAWAR: An Anti-Terrorism Court here on Monday handed over a former cop to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on 15-day physical remand in a case about inciting the policemen to violence.
The CTD officials produced the former cop Jamshed before Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Mohammad Iqbal.The investigation officer told the court that Jamshed was a former cop and was involved in inciting the police force to violence through his social media posts.
He said that the accused belonged to the Bannu district and was arrested in Peshawar.The investigation officer requested the court to hand him over to the CTD on physical remand.
