PARACHINAR: Unidentified armed men killed a man at Mankang area in Kurram tribal district, police sources said on Monday.
The sources said that one Zahir Ali was killed when he was working in his fields. The police got hold of the body after reports that the slain person had been allegedly set on fire.The police registered the case and launched investigation.
It may be mentioned that 15 people were killed in fresh clashes in restive Kurram district two days ago.Also, the Peshawar-Parachinar Road was closed to traffic after the recent clashes. This has created the shortage of food items in Kurram.The local authorities took action to restore peace in the area by arresting around 50 people.
