PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) local leader Ikhtiar Wali Khan on Sunday criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over its proposed protest on October 15.
“There is no logic behind the decision. It seems the decision is being taken to please the enemies of Pakistan,” he said in a statement. He said those opposed to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were trying to create chaos in Pakistan.
The PMLN leader said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit was an important event and any attempt to disrupt it would be met with serious consequences. “All political parties are united to make the SCO conference a success,” he said and hoped the PTI would review its decision.
