Ashab wins Mile High Squash Classic

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ashab Irfan won the $15000 Mile High Squash Classic in Denver, USA, on Sunday. Seventh seed Ashab stunned his countryman fifth seed Asim Khan 15-13, 8-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-9 to claim the title.
Ashab’s Mentor and Tournament Promoter Jahanzeb Masood praised Ashab on his winning this important event and said: “Ashab embarked on his journey to Houston for training and competing in the PSA circuit. “Since then, he has made tremendous progress, overcoming various challenges and achieving numerous accomplishments.’’
