ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has sought nominations of eligible officers for the National Security and War Course 2025.
The Establishment Division has sent an office memorandum to the secretaries of all ministries and divisions, secretary of the President House, secretary of Prime Minister’s Office, auditor general of Pakistan, chairman of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), secretary of National Assembly, secretary of Senate, chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), DG of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), DG of Intelligence Bureau (IB) and secretaries of the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. The memorandum states that the National Security and War Course, organised by the National Defence University, Islamabad, will commence in the second week of August 2025.
Officers in Grade 20 will be nominated for this course. The Establishment Division will nominate officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service and Secretariat Group, while other departments and ministries will nominate their respective officers.
It has instructed that the panel of eligible officers be submitted to the Establishment Division by November 8, 2024. The eligibility criteria stipulate that the officer concerned should be in the promotion zone and not older than 55 years on December 31, 2026. A minimum of four female officers must be nominated for the course. The relevant ministry or department will certify that there are no pending disciplinary actions against the nominated officer. The course fee has been set at Rs2,169,462. Officers are also required to submit their seniority list and career data.
