Body recovered from Ravi

LAHORE : A body was recovered from the River Ravi near the Jallo area on Saturday.

Rescue 1122 teams were alerted to the scene after receiving reports of a body spotted in the water and rescue divers initiated their search.

After an intensive operation, the team successfully retrieved the body from the river.

The identity of the deceased remained unknown and the body was handed over to the police for further investigation.

Two fire incidents

Two separate fire incidents were reported in City on Saturday.

In the first incident, the fire broke out in a house located on Pir Ghazi Road, Ichhra.

Emergency vehicles arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the alert. Rescue personnel worked swiftly to control the blaze, and the fire was successfully extinguished by 3:02 pm. No casualties were reported in the incident.

Later in the day, another fire was reported in Mansoorah Bazaar, near the PSO Pump on Multan Road.

Rescue 1122 responded immediately, dispatching emergency vehicles and firefighting teams to the location.

As of the latest update, the fire had been brought under control, and no injuries were reported in this incident either.
