ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in the federal services.
The federal government has approved the posting of three army officers in the Airports Security Force (ASF). Lt Col Adnan Younis, Lt Col Saeedullah and Lt Col Muhammad Rizwan Afsar have been appointed as Additional Directors of ASF. The appointment of the three officers is on the basis of secondment as per the prevailing rules and regulations and effective immediately and until further notice.
Director General, National Health Emergency Preparedness Response Center and grade 20 officer, Dr. Sabina Imran Durrani, has been transferred and posted as Chief, Population and Social Planning Section, Ministry of Planning. Meanwhile, the services of Daniyal Gilani of Information Group grade 19 at the disposal of the Punjab government have been returned to the Ministry of Information. Khurram Jahanzeb, a grade 20 officer of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, has been appointed as the Chief Finance Officer of the Ministry of National Food Security.
Sajda Ayaz Qazi, grade 18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service awaiting appointment, has been transferred to the Sindh government. The extension of 6 months in the posting period of Police Service grade 17 17 officer, Baidar Bakht, posted in FC, has been cancelled. Assistant Professor (Urdu) College Education Department, government of Sindh, Sarfraz Khan’s services have been assigned to Federal Directorate of Education on deputation for one year and lecturer (English) Higher Education Department and government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Sajjad’s services have been assigned to Federal Directorate of Education on deputation for one year.
The appointment of Audit Officer Abid Mahmood as Deputy Director on deputation in Benazir Income Support Program has been extended by one year. The Establishment Division has issued notifications of these appointments and transfers.
