ISLAMABAD: The Standing Committee of the Senate on Housing and Construction has called for a presentation from the Ministry of Housing and Construction about the adjustment or induction of the employees of Pak PWD in various government departments. A special meeting has been called on October 17.
It asked about the status of PSDP projects managed by PWD and what stages are they in? The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority has been asked for a report on the allotment of plots to journalists and a waiting list has also been called for. A briefing has been sought on the housing projects of the housing authority. It has been asked how many people registered in the 2007 campaign and how many plots were allotted and how much was paid to the land owners in Sector G-12 and F-12?
It also sought a briefing on Thalian and Park Road Scheme. The standing committee has also sought records of the ongoing inquiries in the FIA against the officers and employees of PWD, Housing Authority, NESPAK and PHA.
