MINGORA: A two-day international conference on “Emerging Trends and Innovative Technologies in Chemistry” concluded at the University of Swat on Thursday.Renowned academician, researcher and former federal minister for Science and Technology, Prof Dr. Attaur Rahman addressed the inaugural session as the chief guest.

Prof Dr. Attaur Rahman praised Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Hassan Sher’s initiative, emphasizing the university’s potential to drive societal progress. “Emerged trends will address regional issues, and conferences like these provide vision for development,” Dr Attaur Rahman said.Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, in his speech, reiterated the university commitment to academic excellence and community impact.

Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary, guest of honour, said: “This international conference on emerging trends in chemistry is a timely effort, bringing together experts to share knowledge and address pressing regional challenges. I applaud the University of Swat commitment to fostering research, innovation, and academic excellence.” The organisers said that the conference was aimed at exploring cutting-edge advancements in chemistry, foster collaborations and knowledge sharing and addressing regional challenges through innovative solutions.
