Islamabad:The president of the Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI), Samina Fazil, said here on Thursday that businesswomen are very pleased with the stabilization of the economy because the country is moving in the right direction. She said that we have high expectations for Federal Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, who is making every effort to encourage commercial ventures and strengthen the economy.

After thoroughly discussing with Jam Kamal Khan, she addressed the office bearers and IWCCI members. She said that we have sent the minister recommendations that, if approved, will greatly benefit the businesswomen and the economy.

Samina Fazil said that we have requested the inclusion of women-owned businesses in trade delegations and the provision of subsidies to facilitate their business promotion. She said that IWCCI has also sent a proposal for subsidies to assist women business owners in attending international trade shows and exhibitions, thereby enhancing their visibility and prospects globally. The founder president of IWCCI stressed the significance of incorporating women's viewpoints in national and international trade policies.
