Islamabad:Former caretaker provincial minister for health & population welfare, Dr. Jamal Nasir held a meeting with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, says a press release.
Dr. Jamal Nasir, renowned social personality appraised Senator Siddiqui for raising the hard press issue of heavy fee being charged by the private medical colleges, in the Senate Standing Committee on Health.
Parents of the medical college students are facing this issue and are not able to submit heavy fee of their children.Dr. Jamal Nasir said that for the first time the seriousness of this important issue has been highlighted by parliamentary leader of PML-N and member of the National Health Standing Committee in the Senate which is generally being ignored.
During the meeting with Irfan Siddiqui, Dr. Jamal Nasir said that he tried hard to solve this problem as caretaker health minister, but a very strong lobby became a hurdle. Dr. Jamal Nasir praised Senator Irfan Siddiqui for raising his voice for the rights of the youth and parents who were suffering from difficulties due to unfair fee structures of private medical colleges.
