Opposition not to exploit or do politics on health of prime minister: Khursheed Shah
SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah said they will not exploit the health issue of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and do not want to do politics on that issue. He was talking to the media in Sukkur on Sunday.
He said the opposition will also not allow the government to postpone the budget on the issue of prime minister’s health, He said the budget is an essential item to present and added that the opposition will not compromise over it. He proposed 20 to 30 percent increase in the salary as well as in the pension of the daily wagers and employees should be Rs20,000.
He said the education budget should be raised three times, so as to compete with other countries. He said with the quality of education, we will serve the nation. He said development and progress of any country depends upon education.
He said experts of Constitution opine that there is no any interpretation of two prime minister. Syed Khurshid Shah said the opposition parties would also not compromise over the TORs and excluding the name of the prime minister from TORs would not be allowed.
Khursheed Shah he had no update whether Asif Ali Zardari has plans to meet with prime minister or not. However, inquiring after the health of any patient is prime duty of Muslims, because Islam and the Prophet (PBUH) encouraged us to do so. He said the central government was victimising Sindh with prolonged load shedding.
