ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has set the cut-off date for the length of service required for promoting officers from Grade 19 to 20 and Grade 20 to 21 as October 15, 2024.

It has also sought complete data about the officers on the panel.

The Establishment Division has sent an office memorandum to all secretaries of ministries, divisions and the auditor general of Pakistan, stating that names and details of all cadre and ex-cadre officers in the promotion zone should be submitted by October 10 for the Central Selection Board meeting.

A form has been provided, which must be signed by the relevant secretary or additional secretary in charge before submitting the officers’ panels.

It is mandatory to include the annual performance reports of officers up to December 31, 2023. The last five years of Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) have been sought, along with reports of mandatory training courses, including SMC, NMC, and NDU courses.

The Establishment Division has instructed that records of any penalties imposed on officers up to Grade 17 should also be provided for those whose names are sent to the panel. It should be specified if any conviction has occurred in any criminal case, including under the NAB ordinance, or if any NRO was obtained. A record of any action(s) taken under the E&D rules has also been sought.

A meeting of the Central Selection Board to promote all service groups and ex-cadre officers to Grades 20 and 21 will be held at the end of this month or the beginning of November, which will be presided over by the FPSC chairman.
