Three killed, 5 injured in Charsadda clash
CHARSADDA: Three persons were killed and five others sustained injuries when rivals traded fire outside the judicial complex here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the rivals, Manzoor and others, allegedly opened fire on Yousaf Ali and others when they were leaving the judicial complex after securing bail in a case related to a land dispute.
They said that in the ensuing exchange of fire, three persons were killed and five others sustained injuries. The dead were identified as Dr Javed Iqbal, Aslam and Nasir Khan.
Yousaf, Adil, Zahoor Khan, Manzoor and Bilal suffered injuries in the clash. The injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital. The sources said the police registered a case and arrested a number of people in connection with the case.
