LAHORE:Deputy Divisional Superintendent Railway Fatima Bilal Tuesday inspected Raja Jang to Basirpur section following the directives of PR CEO Aamir Ali Baloch and DS Muhammad Hanif Gul.
MPA Basirpur Chaudhry Iftikhar Chachhar and former chairmen and nazims also met her during the inspection and provided suggestions regarding better utilisation of railway land and new projects.
The deputy DS ordered the closure of an illegally installed tube well near the railway track. She also halted an illegal use of six acres of railway land in Mandi Ahmadabad. She said with the support of the local community, railway land would be used more efficiently, and surplus railway land along the section would be utilised to increase revenue.
