LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said the revolutionaries’ “Che Guevara Gandapur” vanished from the KP House Islamabad like Aladdin’s genie.

During a media briefing at the DGPR here on Monday, she said the PTI’s warriors were armed with modern weapons to attack the federal government. These terrorists killed a constable and injured dozens of police officers. Riot groups set fire to 10 vehicles, vandalized 441 rooms of the Safe City Authority, burned 31 motorcycles, set trees ablaze and wreaked havoc in Islamabad. She said all messages from the Adiala Jail urged incitement, arson, vandalism and riots. While unrest continues on the one side, significant progress is being made in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz is providing easy loans of up to 1.5 million to those dreaming of their own homes, 65,000 special individuals are being provided with Himmat Cards and farmers Kissan Cards. Children are receiving laptops, motorcycles and scholarships. In contrast, children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being taught to make petrol bombs and dangerous slingshots while their entire leadership works from home.

She said the KP information minister issued statements from his garden. Even Aalia Hamza is better as she at least brings 10 to 15 people with her. She lauded the people of Punjab for rejecting the ‘Fitna’ party, stating that the PTI expected huge crowds in Lahore, but nothing materialized. She expressed a desire for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to experience development similar to Punjab. She said people there still crossed rivers using oil drums. She accused the PTI of wasting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s entire budget on rallies and protests. They were given rescue vehicles and cranes for public welfare, but they took them to Islamabad.

She said the lists of government employees were being compiled, and anyone involved in malicious designs would face punishment. In response to a question, she said disturbances originated from the Adiala Jail. She criticized the PTI’s ‘hypocrisy’ for seeking to negotiate with the establishment while also hurling insults at it. She called for a response similar to how rioters were treated in the UK.
