LAHORE:Traffic police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a private lab, enabling traffic personnel to access discounted medical services.
The initiative is spearheaded by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Ammara Athar, as part of her ongoing efforts to enhance the wellbeing of the city's traffic force. Under this agreement, traffic police officers will receive up to 50pc discount on various health services offered by lab. Families of martyred officers, as well as deserving personnel, will be entitled to free services, ensuring complete healthcare coverage for those in need.
The MoU was signed by CTO Ammara Athar and Holistic Care Lab CEO, Muhammad Faizan. As part of this initiative, wardens will also have access to home-based testing services, providing greater convenience. Furthermore, traffic police officers will be able to get discounted medical tests for up to six family members. This collaboration underscores the traffic police’s commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of its staff, providing them with essential healthcare benefits.
