KARACHI: Neem Paymenow, a Sharia-compliant employee financial wellness solution, is set to launch in Pakistan in mid-October.
Developed in partnership with Paymenow, South Africa’s leading provider, the initiative aims to provide much-needed financial relief to workers across the country while promoting responsible wage access and reducing the cycles of debt.
The launch event will feature Paymenow CEO Deon Nobriega, who will be attending to celebrate the company’s entry into the Pakistani market. Currently led by Niran Rehman, Neem Paymenow was founded in 2019 by a team of experienced fintech entrepreneurs and is backed by global investors, including DNI Group, Arif Habib, Outrun Ventures, SparkLabs Fintech, and various angel investors from notable companies like Stripe, PayNet, and M-Pesa.
With a strong vision for enhancing financial wellness, Neem Paymenow utilizes a banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, enabling digital businesses in various sectors to offer embedded financial services to their customers. The company’s arrival is poised to make a significant impact on the financial landscape in Pakistan, fostering a culture of responsible financial management and support for the workforce.
