LAHORE: The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) Sunday inaugurated the national karate coaches and referees/judges courses 2024 here on Sunday. Chairman Pakistan Karate Federation Muhammad Jahangir was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
The event marks a significant step in the development of coaching standards in Pakistan, aligned with the latest international guidelines, believes the PKF. Nasim Ahmad Qureshi, Chief Referee Pakistan Karate Federation, is conducting the referees/ judges course while Muhammad Nadeem, Director Coaches Course, is conducting the national coaches course. They have set an ambitious tone for the programme, emphasising the critical role of well-trained coaches in uplifting national karate standards.
Additionally, the chief referee of the PKF gave an informative briefing on the “New Rules of the World Karate Federation (WKF)”, ensuring that all participants are up to date with the latest regulatory changes. This session provided valuable insights into rule modifications, ensuring Referees/Judges and Coaches are well-prepared to guide their athletes under the current WKF standards.
