MANSEHRA: As many as 277 policemen from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa passed out and formally joined the force after undergoing training at the Police Training School here.
Additional Inspector General of Police (Training) Dr Akhtar Abbas was the chief guest on this occasion.
He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police were at the forefront of war being waged against militancy and terrorism in the province.“Our force has set records while rendering unmatched sacrifices in the country’s war against militancy and newly passed out personnel would also follow its legacy,” he said while speaking at the 46th passing-out parade of Police Training School.
District Police Officer Shafiullah Gandapur and Director of Police Training School Akramullah Khan were present.Abbas said the police force was exhibiting its bravery and professionalism in dealing with militants and terrorists within limited resources.
“Our 2280 cops laid down their lives in the line of duty to flash out terrorists,” he said. As many as 277 policemen from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa passed out and formally joined the force. The passed-out personnel also marched and saluted Akhtar Abbas, who later reviewed the parade.The recruits who showed good performance during the training and parades, were awarded with shields and certificates.
