JHANG: District Police Officer Bilal Iftikhar has directed the SDPOs and SHOs of all circles in the district to enhance their supervisory role as it is essential for controlling robbery and other crimes.
Investigators should ensure the arrest of wanted criminals and complete case investigations by providing opportunities to both the complainants and respondents without employing delaying tactics. He stated this while chairing the monthly crime review meeting.
The DPO mentioned that it was inappropriate for people to travel long distances daily to reach the district police office for assistance. Such a practice reflects a lack of trust in the local police station, he added. He said that SHOs and SDPOs must be present at police stations to address the grievances of the public.
