PESHAWAR: The Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has condemned the use of force against the activists of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement who were making arrangements to stage a gathering in Khyber tribal district.
In a statement, QWP spokesperson said all citizens had the right to stage peaceful protests and express their views without any fear.
The spokesperson said that using force against law-abiding citizens was against the law of the land so this practice should be discouraged.
The statement said that QWP believed in raising voice for the rights of the Pakhtuns enshrined in the Constitution.
